I’ve walked the mountains of the Faroe Islands all my life. As a child, I would help my father and brother herd sheep, hunt hares, take birds’ eggs and sky-fish. I can’t count how many hours I’ve spent hiking.

Like most children, I loved climbing as a child and I’ve continued the fun as I’ve grown older. I’ve taken part in some big climbing projects that have lasted up to 48 hours to complete, and I’ve also have some first ascents climbing various high-projecting rocks in the Faroe Islands.

The accomplishment I’m most pleased with is when I – as the youngest person ever – climbed the 313m high “Trøllkonufingur” in 2015.

I’m a certified and approved international climbing instructor, specialized in Faroese climbing. I only use internationally approved climbing equipment. I believe in safety first, experience second. Safety is of the utmost importance and will never be compromised under any circumstance.

When I travel abroad, I always want to experience something extra, and this is precisely what I want to offer Reika Adventures' customers.

Everyone employed by Reika Adventures has the necessary certificates and are well-trained for their job and know the Faroe Islands and the Faroese nature well.
